This razor is an absolute game changer. The shave is incredibly close—like there’s barely anything between your hand, blade and your skin. The handle feels luxe and lightweight in the best way, and the preset blade makes it easy to use once you get the hang of it. It took me a couple of goes to adjust, but now I genuinely look forward to shaving (never thought I’d say that!). Plus, the popular is great. I’m obsessed.

Great razor that is easy to use. I love the elastic to hang in shower- so it dries out well. The travel pouch is perfect for trips away to fit the razer and change in blades. Easy to order and reorder and quick delivery. Thoroughly recommend this awesome product.

razor over several days.

Firstly i must say i have been head shaving for many years using the US product HeadBlade. Over time i have tried various handled razors as well but was never satisfied with their performance.

I Head Shave daily

On receiving the razor from Rest Razor i was impressed as to the quality of the product. it was sturdy and well made, however i found changing the blade a little tricky at first. It was presented in a lovely little carry bag which i thought was a nice touch. Also in the package was a tube of the Roll On shave gel by reset.

On my first head shave with the reset i prepared the head with a shaving stick used as the shaving medium, it created a heavy foam. The razor was surprisingly very user friendly and i must say it only took 3 minutes to achieve a baby bum smooth ( BBS) result. There were no nicks or cuts received during this shave!
It was much much quicker to use this for a Head Shave than a traditional long handled razor.

On my second shave, i felt more comfortable holding the razor as it did on my first shave feel a little different holding something so small! on this shave i used a Shaving Gel as the Shaving medium.
It again gave me a BBS shave again only taking three minutes! On this shave i did feel it shaved easier using their proprietry roll on gel.

On day 3 i used old fashioned shaving cream with a brush. It was becoming easier to use day by day however, i found the blade was skipping or gripping which indicated to me that the blade was becoming dull or possibly the medium wasnt appropriate. It resulted in a couple of bleeding nicks and this shave took a minute or so longer.

The following several shaves over the next few days once again mixing the shaving mediums and changing the blade after three uses resulted in BBS shaves in around 3 minutes each. I did not use this in the shower but at the basin so i could view the progress in the mirror.

My final Thoughts,

Once used to using this razor it would give an exceptional shave
and be absolutely superb to travel with.

My go to medium to use with this razor would be a gel.

Once you get used to holding it correctly it was simple to manouver

I found after a few shaves it was easier to assemble( change blades ) than any of the competition

if using as a Head Shaver i would recommend a blade change after 3 or so shaves but everyones stubble is different.

Compared to the US device it was a fraction of the size and absolutely excellent to drop in your dop bag.

I would suggest this razor for anyone starting out with Head Shaving.

I was given a Reset Razor as a gift and I really liked it! Each blade lasts a significant time if you do not need to shave often and it delivers the same close shave every time.
